Now is the time for you to rebel. Leave your coffee mug in that desk drawer, and instead go out and buy yourself a traditional 1 liter German beer mug, known as a Maß, or a beer stein, possibly with your name ingrained on top. You might be due for a splurge. With Prost Brewing’s location right outside of downtown Denver, in the upcoming, hip neighborhood of the Highlands, Prost can be reached quite easily for many Denver workers.

Beer may not have caffeine, but it does have B vitamins and other vital nutrients that make beer a pick-me-up drink after all. A cold beer is refreshing, and the laid back atmosphere at Prost is ideal for a casual meeting or simply a team building event for any company. Taking a little bit of time to take pleasure in a beer could put you and your coworkers in a relaxed state of mind quite conducive for concentration and unveiling that “Eureka” moment.

All that is left to do is to call up your boss, and request a beer break. Don’t forget to tell your boss that Prost Brewing has some of the highest quality German beer this side of the Atlantic. When they ask if you are joking, present all the points listed above, and before you know it, you and your colleagues will be headed over to Prost around the afternoon slump.

Who knows, maybe your boss will even find a reason to come. Of course, if your boss refuses your idea to take a beer break, then perhaps you will just have to plan an after work beer break with colleagues or friends. Either way, your next beer break is closer than you might think! WIth a little determination, you can make it a reality. Your German beer is waiting for you at Prost!
